I got into photography to learn more about the people around me. The best way to see what drives someone is to see what they want to immortalize. It's my job to make sure I capture the moment as they see it.
My first exposure to photography was at a young age. I remember developing black and white film with my mom in the make-shift darkroom in our basement. I have always been a fan of photography, but it wasn't until the last few years that I started actively pursuing it. I got my start in photography at local conventions. Since then I branched out to concert and dance photography, including working for the non-profit Joy of Motion and local dance companies and as a freelance photographer for DCist. In 2015, I had the honor of showing one of my pieces at the ExposedDC photography show.
I am starting to branch out into other projects and photograph events for hire. If you have any interest in using my work please contact me. Either way, please follow me on any of these platforms.
